1. Introduction

It is common issue that coolant sealant fails in some of cars.

1.1 How to Check

  • Easiest way to check with Speed Sensor (Rotor encoder sensor).
  • Visually inspect for signs of condensation, moisture and/or corrosion, coolant, oil leakage contamination.
  • After removing sensor, you could check inside speed sensor mounting whole sign for any leakage.

1.2 Why its important to fix if there is any leakage

  • to avoid more damage
  • to avoid expensive repair in the future

1.3 What could happen if not fixed?

  • It could damage whole drive unit and need to repair/replace whole drive unit which could cost around 7,600 (Cost could vary depend on Model).
  • It could seize motor and stop working.
