1. Introduction

You need to turn on Car Wash Mode before washing the car.

2. Wash Mode

2.1 What happens after turning on "Car Wash Mode"

Car Wash Mode closes all windows, lock the charge port, and disables windshield wipers, Sentry Mode, walk-away door locking, and parking sensor chimes.

2.2 How to enable

touch Controls > Service > Car Wash Mode

Car must be stationary and not actively charging.

FAQ

1. Should I go to the regular car wash places?

It is highly recommended to do with workshop who knows about Tesla Cars to avoid issues, alerts etc.
