How to Start Tesla Car after Accident Repair Guide


What might need to do to fix/start the car after accident

Fireman's Loop

  • Check if safety/Fireman's loop is cut

Pyro Fuse

  • Check if pyro fuse is blown up
  • Might need to replace Pyro Fuse
  • After replacing pyro fuse, car should be able to start/move

HV Plug Under Seat

  • Check if plug under the rear seat is plugged in. 

Load Shed

  • Clear Post Crash Load Shed

VCFRONT

  • Might need to Clear VCFRONT (Crash Flag)
  • Might need to replace VCFRONT
  • In some cases, it is possible to reset via Service Mode
  • In some cases, it might need Toolbox
Replace new VCFRONT

If you install new VCFRONT. You have to reinstall firmware.

Actions - VCFRONT - TESTRESET_ VCFRONT - Run 

Low Voltage Battery

  • Might need to replace low voltage battery
  • Check Low voltage battery is connected properly 

Contactors Status

Check if contactors are open. If its open, car will not support low voltage battery and it will drain low voltage battery. If you need support how to check and how to close it. Please contact us. 

Airbag

You need to replace Airbag if the airbag exploded. You need to order Airbags.

Software reinstall

Pyro Fuse

  • Check if pyro fuse is blow up.
    • Is it car moving/starting.

Load Shed

  • First you might need to clear load shed

VCFRONT

reset/replace VCFRONT.

  • Might need to replace VCFRONT, if you can not clear reset

Power Supply

Need to support with power supply.

Get connected car to WiFi

 do software reinstall (Firmware update)

Low Voltage Battery

Later replace/work/repair on Low Voltage battery.

FAQ

Service mode is not loading (just spinning)?

Did you perform all needed repair/reset/replacement parts?

Service Mode might not load if VCFRONT is in Load Shed Mode.
