It is high voltage component. PTC stands for Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC).
1.2 What does it do?
It warms the car during the winter. It blows hot air and heat the car cabin.
1.3 Which model are equipped with PTC Heater?
Mostly used in older models. It is possible to check via touchscreen whether your car is equipped with PTC Heater or Heat Pump. Newer models are equipped with Heat Pump System.

2.2 Service Mode
It could be possible to find out the exact cause of the alert with the help of services alerts in Service Mode.
How to check service alerts in Service Mode
- On the touchscreen, click Controls (vehicle icon) > Software
- Touch and hold the large word "MODEL" for 4 seconds and then release.
- Enter "service" as access code.
- After clicking on Service Alerts. You can read service alerts. If there is anything wrong with car. It will show in active alerts.
